A recent etched glass design by Garland House Studio. A new design can be kind of tricky to get right; we find ourselves using techniques and theory from a variety of traditional processes to figure out how to translate a sketched image into a glass piece. I know that we have personally used techniques and theory learned from traditional photography, printmaking, painting, graffiti, and each new project brings additional new challenges that we have to figure out a way to address. It is a very involved process, but very rewarding when you get the result you envisioned.
