This is a fairly accurate (by that I mean the colors are not exaggerated) depiction of a Pink Robin, a species found in Australia that is a bit brighter than the type we see here in Michigan. It was a fun opportunity to play around with some solvent blending, which you can notice in the softer area around the eyes. I also used the technique in the breast area, but added a second layer of mark-making on top.
